Khairi Fortt Names Top Six
That is all.
For qouting Dr. Tobias Funke - Analrapist
This is great, I really want this kid. He seems like someone who can become a contributer right away and maybe blossom into a star.
who sign elsewhere. Given our needs on D I hope Fortt isn't one of them.
Seriously. I was watching ESPNU today, and the ESPN 150 scrolled across the bottom. I must have seen Michigan's name 30 times at least.
I see Oregon all over the place, even for guys that it doesn't really make sense for. This may be shallow, but I actually think the Unis have something to do with it. They have great facilities but a lot of guys that list them haven't been there yet.
Like that kind of news. Fortt is good.
Is he still considered a PSU lock?
Unless he decides to take more than 3 OVs no one other than PSU, UNC or UGA should get their hopes up
no problem lol :)
i really hope he commits but i dont see this happening
It's easy for recruits to throw Michigan's name into the mix when asked about recruiting. I think that is because of the prestige. It seems like a lot of recruits will mention schools that they have talked to frequently, and then at the end they will throw in "...oh, and I'll probably take a look at Michigan and Ohio State too." Unfortunately, this happens more often when the recruits really haven't taken a look at Michigan, nor do they have any real plans to do so. This commonly excites many recruiting sites and fans who hear a mention of Michigan with top recruits, when really it is more of the recruits just mentioning all of the biggest named schools they can think of to bolster their own recruiting. I have fallen into the trap much too many times of getting my hopes up for top recruits that really have no intention of taking a real look at Michigan...
yeah it isn't that uncommon to be honest, we normally refer to it as posturing. It gets a bit annoying after a while
do we all like this Irish guy so much?
I know you like hanging around here with us for some reason, but don't you feel like a jewish kid attending a catholic school?
Though UM was mentioned I think it would be the shock of the century if he signed with us. Even a visit is highly unlikely here.
I totally agree with the above opinions. However, if we can get him on campus I think that increases our odds at signing him. How much that raises the very slim odds is beyond me but it will only help us. The bigger story will be if and/or when he visits.
Looks like a solid recruit.
I would really like to get this kid, he seems like he could be a great linebacker for us.I also heard he tore at up at the FBU Showcase thing down in Florida where their was a lot of really good recruits so that is good to hear. I don't think our chances are the best but if we could get him on a visit up here you never know.
I think the saying "get him on campus" comes into play. We likely have a decent shot if we can just get him on campus. But if we can't... well not much of a chance than.
I wouldn't get too bent of shape worrying about recruiting at this point - I feel going 7-5 or 8-4 this season will allow the snake oil to flow freely, just as it has the last two years.
If recent history is any example, I anticipate the class we sign in February will include around 3-5 highly rated prospects none of us ever saw coming.
Michigan is in the top 6, barely, seems to heavily leaning towards Georgia.
