to say that Sheridan = DEATH all along?
a terrible blight on our fine country
is reaching for another clip... he emptied the first one into any remaining hope of something positive coming out of this season... and now is turning it on himself.
He is not a division one caliber quarterback, and I kind of feel badly for him as I continue to watch him. We should be better next year with legitimate competition at this spot.
i have no thoughts
people thought otherwise?
Well, Sheridan has won 50% of the games we have won against Big10 teams. So, yeah, some people, me included, thought death was not certain today, but, of course, the weather, did not have any impact, (wooooo, commas),,,,,
Lay off the kid. What more do you want from him? He's a WALK-ON who plays his ass off. It's not his fault Mallett left and Threet can't stay healthy. He played pretty damn well last week.
We are a shitty team right now. The blame doesn't lie squarely on the shoulders of the quarterback. Or did you not see the 21-yard TD run RIGHT UP THE MIDDLE or the 53-yard TD pass RIGHT UP THE MIDDLE?
Yea but you can't really blame the defense after dominating for a half, getting two interceptions and sacking the qb multiple times. They really only missed a couple plays. Our D almost tied the game, if it weren't for the refs raping us on that "out of bounds" call.
Meanwhile, our offense only scored 7 points on the day. No amount of defense can safe that terribleness.
Unfortunately, Rods offense centers around the QB being good, and he's said that many times. Our qbs are the worst position on our entire team, not just our offense.
I'd settle for a merely competent QB now. And yes, that includes a healthy Threet.
I'm not blaming the defense. I'm saying it was a TEAM effort - offense, defense, and special teams.
It takes biting, incisive analysis, to, retroactively, say the quarterback isn't good. Wow. Get this guy a Pulitzer.
