Whats the inside scoop on Caleb Lavey? I see hes high on Michigan and only a 3 star according to scout. But, I think he has potential to be a great, he has his own website like Tate. Supposely hes been a starter at his HS since freshmen yr, and lead his team in tackles each year too.

He has a big connection with Michigan--his dad was the football equipment manager when he went to UM!! There are pictures of Caleb as a young boy in the UM locker room trying on a winged helmet. I think he will come to Michigan.

Beware the Irish
I agree that Michigan would seem to have the inside track based on personal history and his recent visit, but if you take a look on Rivals he was pretty bullish on his visit @ ND. I take that interview with a grain of salt as it was done by someone at Irish Illustrated (I believe), but it sounded like a definite threat.

When the rankings become final I'm confident he'll be a 4*. He really liked UM when he was here recently so there is a good chance he'll come. We'll see though.
