the injury report, the better. Hopefully next weeks title for this is "The most super duper boring injury report ever made."
Injury Report Is Super Boring
Editors note: press release.
For the Iowa Game (Saturday, Oct. 10)
Zac Johnson (shoulder)
David Molk (foot)
In addition, head coach Rich Rodriguez announced the game captains for the game against Iowa: linebacker Stevie Brown, offensive lineman Tim McAvoy, offensive lineman David Moosman and defensive end Tim North.
/end press release. Also, Carlos Brown was held out of practice yesterday because of a concussion and is probably not going to play Saturday.
Carlos Brown (concussion)
Suddenly the injury report isn't as boring as advertised.
I was wondering that myself. What's the point of the injury report if we leave people off?
I was about to post the same thing. How does that make sense?
am i the only one who knows that the "injury report" is to list thsoe that are "probable, doubtful, and out". not just the injured? if they are injured but playing they are not listed on the injury report. of course in wk 6 we have injuries but if they are playing they will not be listed on the injury report. duh!
So, what does "probable" mean to you?
it's "probable" he will play but it's a game time decision. if not listed he will play and we won't need to wait til game time.
the report is that it has somewhat predictably opened Rodriguez up to more criticism. Check out the article below from annarbor.com.
Although the injury report seems like a good idea in theory, in practice it may be better to just go back to using press conferences to provide vague information about injuries.
The injury report has become a form of hockey style gamesmanship. We all know Tate was injured prior to the State game but missed him on the "injury report". Carlos Brown is clearly injured this week. There is no credibility to an a report that lists only two players in the sixth week of the season. Not angry, jus' sayin'.
pretty much with TE Moeaki and CB Prater "questionable" for Michigan game, but are probably well enough to see the field.
I can't imagine Brown playing even if he has a light concussion (insert Sam McGuffie nightmare here). You can't take that chance. Shaw will undoubtedly get playing time along with Minor.
Zac Johnson is my favorite special teams player, sad to see he's still out. Hopefully he'll be back soon. Oh, it would be nice to have that Molk guy back too.
stays boring all year.
I think the 2007 team would have begged for an injury report this boring
Michigan has been really good when it is injury free. This team can get a piece of the B10 this year. Minor and the OLine have to click now even without Molk. This has to happen. Players that touch the ball on every down are really important. When Molk comes back watch out!
If Minor, Hemmingway, and Forcier are not on the report at all, then does that mean that they are 100%? I haven't heard about Hemmingway in four weeks. I assume that means he was fulled healed last month.
Brown didn't travel with the team.
