Illinois Video Of All Varieties
Hey, remember when Michigan won games and people put lots of video on the internet? Me neither. But apparently they do. There's an SD torrent up already.
This week's headliner is Roy Roundtree being fantastic, as per usual:
The official site's highlight reel necessarily leaves out almost everything, but if you're looking for a quick primer on about 20% of the scoring here it is:
Wolverine Historian put together an extensive clip package that's after the jump.
Tim caught the on-field celebration:

The halftime show was epic (and was recapped by the Hoover Street Rag):
This is an official petition for the band to have their insane wildcat tackle fake Brutus every week. For twenty minutes straight.
More interviews, highlights, and random bits after the jump.
Wolverine Historian's got a three-part highlight reel because you can't contain all the stuff that went down in this game in just two reels:
I'll never forgive Special K for playing "Down With The Sickness," that one Linkin Park song, and "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor," thereby turning Michigan Stadium into Monday Night Raw, but this bit of internet weirdness was 5% redemption:
And as long as we're talking about Special K, here comes the boom in the form of Floyd Simmons's decleater on Michigan's reverse kickoff return (you definitely want to mute your speakers before hitting play, though):
Other press conference participants follow. Junior Hemingway:

This morning I've been having a hard time uttering sentences that don't include "woohoo bowl eligible."

Props to Wolverine Historian for getting the clips put together so fast. I know what I will be doing at work today.

MMB Wizard of Oz was pretty awesome.

Roy Roundtree is a friggin' badass!!
November 7th, 2010 at 11:04 AM ^
As fun as it is to yell out "Treezy!" when he make a big play, I still liked nicknaming him "Shaft" because he is a bad...
November 7th, 2010 at 12:10 PM ^
bout Shaft ...
November 7th, 2010 at 12:27 PM ^
can dig it.
November 7th, 2010 at 1:11 PM ^
I thought we would all enjoy that.

late, as usual
November 7th, 2010 at 11:10 AM ^
Whenever I see a Roy Roundtree interview, I get in a great mood. I seriously just want to hug him.
November 7th, 2010 at 11:13 AM ^
all michigan football games shall include a fake ohio bobcat tackling a fake brutus and all michigan post-victory press conferences shall include roy roundtree speaking like donald duck for a minimum of 60 seconds
November 7th, 2010 at 5:32 PM ^
The OH - NO was classic. Kudos to the band for some excellent work.

I don't know about you but the sun is shining just a little bit brighter this Sunday morning.
November 7th, 2010 at 1:19 PM ^
(Don't know why it looks like standard def here; it's in HD)
November 7th, 2010 at 11:19 AM ^

That settles it:
Keep. Feeding. Roy. Roundtree.
November 7th, 2010 at 2:12 PM ^
The quote was "I'm hongry."
November 7th, 2010 at 11:38 AM ^
But who cares, as long as they keep feeding Roy Roundtree.
November 7th, 2010 at 11:47 AM ^
Just here to sign the petition.
November 7th, 2010 at 11:48 AM ^
So who's in favor of Roy sporting #1 next year?
November 7th, 2010 at 12:42 PM ^
Can he grow dreads by then?
November 7th, 2010 at 12:03 PM ^
Go Blue!

We officially need to start a collection to get WolverineHistorian a HD DVR.
Thanks for your yeoman efforts sir!
November 7th, 2010 at 3:14 PM ^
You're welcome. I told folks I was thinking about stopping uploading current games and sticking to the ones from the pre-HD era. But people asked me to continue anyway even though the picture quality blows compared to those HD highlights.
One of these years I'll catch up with the rest of the world and get HD.
November 7th, 2010 at 7:41 PM ^
How about we make a big drive to get folks to donate through beveled guilt this week, and some of the proceeds will go to the worthy cause of an HD box for WH?
November 7th, 2010 at 12:17 PM ^
Brian, your slipping.
November 7th, 2010 at 12:24 PM ^
Your? He's slippin but you're trippin.
November 7th, 2010 at 12:43 PM ^
Okay, guys, no more dissing copy mistakes within like 5 minutes of posting. We're on the m-er f-er.
November 7th, 2010 at 12:19 PM ^
if the "your" was intentional, than you are officially brilliant!
November 7th, 2010 at 12:30 PM ^
I know I'm not the first, nor will I be the last, but does anyone have a good quality halftime video complete with what was on the video-screens? I know I'd love to see it again with what was on the screens and there are some people I'd like to share it with who'd also want to see the screens.
November 7th, 2010 at 1:36 PM ^
Halftime shows are usually not my absolute favorite, and there were some pretty hokey jokes in there, but I loved it. Mockery is my favorite.
November 7th, 2010 at 1:59 PM ^
I was looking at the photos from Junior's tip TD (around #90) and was impressed with the closing speed of M. Wilzon, Ill LB. It looks like he flies to the ball. Just think where this team could be with an average defense.
November 7th, 2010 at 3:07 PM ^
Perhaps my eyes deceive me, but pretty sure I spotted ole Lloyd Brady in his usual prime front row seat, an arm length from the players, in the "It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine" video, third from top.
November 7th, 2010 at 3:15 PM ^
He seems to pull a jesus and rise up from the crowd! Love that Lloyd Brady!
November 7th, 2010 at 4:16 PM ^
Lloyd Brady isn't a man. He's an idea.
November 7th, 2010 at 7:23 PM ^
Thank you. That was the greatest 67-65 game in the history of the world!!!
November 7th, 2010 at 9:07 PM ^
Between the GaGa show at ND and this, how in the world is the MMB going to top themselves at Wisky/OSU? Congrats, I hereby revoke all of my previous years of bitching about the band and will loudly brag our marching band in the most interesting in the country (take that standford).
November 8th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
I specifically remember that the 1972 Rose Bowl (M-Stanford) was hyped in Newsweek as "The Battle of the Bands." (I hope you did mean "Stanford," otherwise, "nevermind.")
November 7th, 2010 at 10:38 PM ^
After Roy's record breaking performance, can the kid get the #1 jersey, or do we still have to wait for Braylon's approval.
