IE Issues
I have no idea why this is happening in IE7:
Does anyone out there know? It disappears after you click around a bit. Please email me if you do; I've been looking at it forever and can't figure it out.
My suggestion to anyone getting this: click on a diary entry and then click back. I think that might work.
Update: a couple readers sent in fixes; I think this issue should be dead now.

i can tell you that much
Also, you said you weren't going to forget a certain feature during a week and therefore put yourself on notice. but you forgot to use it during the bye week. does the bye week not count or are you now dead to you? also, how can someone be dead to themselves? lol

People still use browsers that are not Firefox?

those of us at work have no choice.

Depending on the degree of IT lockdown, you could try Portable Firefox. It's a no-install version.

I got rid of it in explorer by right clicking and switching the encoding from unicode to western euopean.

that worked.
And fyi, for those of you decrying the use of IE, many of us at work or on work-provided equipment (like me with my now-ancient Latitude D610) are forced to use what the company lets us use. In my case, it's still IE6 on my laptop. At home, I (and I'm sure everyone else) use firefox or another IE alternative, so please spare us the incredulousness.

It's the Allman Brothers Band ad that is causing it. Every time that thing
is displayed it gets screwed up. Has something to do with it adding a "white-space: nowrap;" css styling that is
screwing everything else up.

but it's happening because IE is a steaming piece of crap. It's difficult to get good results when you use feces as an interface tool.

It's such a piece of crap. Thank god Firefox showed up a few years to save the web.

Not fixed yet Brian (despite your update) - I had to refresh 3 times for it to go away.
