that the Western Michigan game will be key for this team. The Offensive line according to the coaches has shown alot of improvement. With the returning running backs, this should help control the ball and clock which should take some of the pressure off the young qb's and our defense. Third and long and coming from behind early in the season will be difficult to over come. Having Mesko punting is also key for early wins. As much as I love Coach Rod's spread offense, I pray that he uses the run to set up the pass in the first 2-3 games. Injury to Tate early on would remove any of my hopes for a 9 win season. Denard has alot of talent but not the polish that Tate has at "this" time. I do believe that by the time of the OSU game, Denard will be Michigan's X-factor. My biggest concern for this team is our defense and avoding turnovers.
