How much playing time do you think that Safety Justin Turner will get this upcoming season?
How much playing time for Justin Turner?
I don't think he will get a ton. He is going to be backing up brown and smith. Do you guys think he will play over jones, emilien, and and williams?
Guys, he's going to be playing CB in all likelihood.
He is a corner. Get with it guys.
Considering he's a cornerback, I don't think he'll see much time at safety at all.
That being said, he could be the starting slot corner from Day 1, because that's where the coaches told him he would play.
The RichRod presser today said he will play both CB and Safety.
My bad, Rivals said that he was a safety so I was a bit confused. Thanks for the clarification
If he's a DB he will be behind Warren, Cissoko, and Woolfolk at least.
Do you mean CB? He won't be behind Woolfolk, most feel he'll be the third corner, and play in the slot, like Magnus said above.
maybe Turner will be in front of Woolfolk, but Woolfolk is a Jr with more experience
Woolfolk was a very low rated recruit, and Turner is the #1 player in Ohio who has impressed everyone (except, surprisingly, ESPN).
So do you think Sheridan will be ahead of Tate on the depth chart? He's a junior with WAY more experience.
I know Woolfolk didnt play a whole lot last year, but I dont remember him giving up any big plays(ie Stevie Brown). Sheridan sucked in almost every game he was in last year. I am not saying Turner wont be #3, because he may very well be, but I think Woolfolk will be pretty good.
Woolfolk might me good, and he might be #3 next year. But the reasons you gave - age and experience - aren't very compelling, especially since the experience is low. There's a talent aspect as well, and that may be an area where JT makes up for his age and his slight experience deficit.
I think either could be #3. I think most likely Woolfolk will be #3 at the beginning of the year, with Turner taking over down the stretch.
