how many players committed to us do you think wont sign with us and who if any? i have a feeling some of these WRs that we have right now will not be committed to us come signing day. I just cant see RR sticking with 5-6 WRs unless some of them are multi dimensional and can play other positions. I really think RR is just loading the class up with "guaranteed numebers" so that we secure depth with this class; considering the DT position where we are so thin and maybe LB or CB. I still feel 2-3 of the kids that are committed to us wont end up signing with us either because we find better players at their position or they are offered PT for a smaller or less football dominant school like a toledo; considering scouting reports on these guys, they are looking to be riding the bench most of their careers at UM anyway. Of course there are diamonds in the rough but this is going strictly on rivals and scouts analysis of these players.

4 and a half.
Your comment looked lonely without any responses.
I have no idea.
"considering scouting reports on these guys, they are looking to be riding the bench most of their careers at UM anyway."
It's all part of RichRod's master plan: Recruit as many 3-stars as possible, and fill that bench with as many of those scrubs as possible. Of course, one or two might be good, but the reality is they all SUCK a whole lotta SUCK and SUCK THEY WILL. Why? Because they're 3 STARS and 3 stars SUCK. Nevermind that, in our case, a 3-star scatback maybe provides us with more value than your typical 4-star running back. Or maybe a small, mobile OL whom scouting sites dont ejaculate over provides with more value than say...the next Dann O'Neill "prototype"
"RR is just loading the class up with "guaranteed numebers" so that we secure depth with this class;"
Absolutely. Rich Rod, like much of this Godforsaken fanbase, is delirious and retarded. Snakebitten by previous decommitments, Rich Rod hops on a Huffy stocked with scholarship offers and goes Paper Boy on every recruiting neighborhood in the country - just to ensure that he can have a full class of 25. Y'know, cuz that's the most important thing.
But really, why would someone be sitting around and contemplating shit like this? Who do I think wont sign? Fuck if I know, and fuck if I care. Are you such a glutton for punishment that you'd rather spend your time worrying about who's gonna leave than look forward to who might commit - or even worse - care more about the upcoming season? We had like 10 3-stars in last years class anyways, dude. WE ALL GON DIE

I love you.
and paper boy metaphor. A Chris Elliott vision in Maize & Blue went zippin' through my noggin.
Thank you for this. I couldn't have said it any better or funnier.
Williamson and J. Robinson can and do play both sides of the ball. This of course could change depending on who else commits. If RR & company land any other WRs especially if its Prater I could see someone change their mind, but I'll stick my neck out and say none will decommit.
Jackson's a given to stay.
but i'm kinda worried about Stephen Hopkins. he is only a 3 star recruit, but as a sophomore and Junior he has already accounted for 3538 total yards rushing and receiving, with over 3300 rushing. I feel like if he gets some larger offers (his list is relatively small, largest schools besides Michigan are: Notre Dame and Nebraska.) i feel like he could decide that his skills as a big back could be used better somewhere else, while i personally think he could be our next Brandon Minor, though he said he is working on breakaway speed, so Brandon Minor with speed?
....any kid before his senior year of high school (EDIT: that you did not sire, coach, or mentor) is a colossal waste of your time.....and I seriously question your life priorities.
Hopkins really likes Michigan and has dedicated himself to not only becoming stronger but faster. He wants to be part of the new Michigan era, so I think he's going to stick around.
Plus, he was pissed rivals gave him a 3*.
What are they committed to use?
However, "how many players committed to use do you think wont sign with us" should be "how many players committed to youse do you think wont sign with us" No sugarcoat, I love using the word "youse." It makes me feel like I grew up in New York City or Jersey.
The three o-linemen, the punter, Hopkins, Drake....
and the rest of this class will NOT be riding the pine at Michigan.
What a stupid comment.
2 D.J and another WR if Prater commits...
Do you think DJ will decommit even though he currently has no other offers?
Analysis deeper than "make shit up" isn't his strong suit.
He will get more offers and I think will be scared off if (and i did say if prater commits) someone will jump on him! With Ricardo, Jackson, and J Rob on top of Prater and the possible to probable DB commits he will have trouble finding any PT. again just speculation!
My head hurts.
I am guessing that with the increasing speed in the dissemination of information, prospects and oral commits see their situation at a certain school change almost daily. These changes will drive how many of the present oral commits will still be Michigan commits come February.
We have no real way of knowing
- How future commitments to Michigan will be viewed by the committed player
- How future commitments to Michigan affect Michigan's level of interest in retaining the commit
- How this fall's senior year play will affect how the commit is viewed by Michigan and other schools
- How other offers to the commit will affect his level of commitment to Michigan
- How the course of Michigan's season affects the way the commit views Michigan's program
- Any change in attitude due to personal issues (wanting to stay closer to home, wants to play with a friend who commits elsewhere, etc.)
In short, we really have no way of knowing how important each player is really valued at Michigan; the true level of commitment each player feels towards Michigan (and thus other factors/offers will have little effect); and a whole host of unanticipated events that can occur over the next 6 months. We just don't have near enough information at hand to make anything other than a wild ass guess.
One thing is certain though, there will be decommitments. I don't think there is a program immune to that these days.
So yeah, I'm torn as to whether the premise of this thread is simply a premature ejaculation or a fruitless exercise in mental masturbation.
any substance that will remove the memory of this post.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Unless your first criteria is satisfied. Then, yes.
Why such a douchenozzle, hmmm?
The guy has clearly done his research.
What can I say, I have a whorish mouth.
sorry about my gramer. I copy and pasted part of it from another thread and tried to mash two sentences together; to terrible success as you can see. I dont necessarily think any players in particular are going to ride the bench but will add depth at the least to all positions. of course we have no way of knowing for sure which players are going to sign or succeed but taking only into account the resources we have, aka rivals and scout, most of these players would just add depth to the positions we have filled with "higher" rated prospects in previous years. Of course some of them could turn out to be studs down the road but as for now they mostly seem like depth chart strengtheners. I was just wondering what your opinions were on this subject.
And you gots dem
