How long on mgoblog?

I'm just curious how long all of us have been regular readers/commenters/posters.

Personally, I became addicted to mgoblog near the end of 2005 (might have been right after the regular season ended, can't remember for sure). It was right about the time when the coaching rumor mill started swirling and everyone was wondering if Ron English would be leaving or if Jim Hermmann would be fired, etc.

I used to post as shorts TCAUP '08, now I'm just plain old shorts. How long have you guys all been regulars, and what got you hooked?

Those who stay will be champions.

I became a daily reader with the Tyrelle Pryor business.

I enjoy the recruiting information, the in depth play by play breakdowns, and the writing quality/humor Brian brings.

I started reading mgoblog early in the 2006 season.  Regular reader, irregular commenter/poster.  I got hooked by the in-depth analysis (UFRs!).  I stumbled upon it in the first place looking for shirtless Tebow pics.

I started reading about a year ago.  A college buddy and I were on our way home from Vegas and he was telling me how awesome MGoBlog was, and I told him blogs were garbage.  I checked it out just because I'm a big UM fan, and I when I found out it wasn't garbage afterall, I was totally hooked.  My name is Dustin, and I'm an MGoBlog addict.

I believe I was searching for information on the injury to Manningham back in 2006 and came across the blog.  A friend of mine had called me with the rumor and I was frantically looking to find any nugget of information.  I've been hooked since.

I used to be just TX Wolverine but due to a glitch in the way I signed up, I'm now ATX Wolverine.

I had to look back to see what I could remember...I definitely was here on and off during 2005, but became addicted in 2006.  Loved the UFR, but my favorite has always been the previews (desperate need to win level, etc etc.).  I pretty much checked for UFR and Previews then.  Then came the coaching search, which raised the addiction to an unhealthy level, and the new site design, which has the potential to ruin me.

Been a frequent peruser and infrequent poster. My ability to rant and carry-on was hampered severely after Lloyd Carr mercifully drowned himself like a litter of bad kittens.  And my firsthand knowledge of football is limited to what an OLB does in high school to cover the option.

Good to be here, love this site.

I visited for the first time during my Intro to Philosophy class last March.  I was looking for massive info on our wonderful hockey team and i found Yost Built, I think by searching for one of our future recruits that went to school with my younger brother.  I then read all I could on Yost Built, and started checking out the links.  The first time I instantly put it in my bookmarks and checked it pretty much every day since then.  Then, over the summer after the banner voting, I started to check about 10 times a day.

I'm not really sure.  I know I was reading last fall; if i started before that, I don't think it was too long before that.

And yeah, it's definitely addicting.  But I haven't really gotten into keeping up with all the other new content -- I don't have the patience or attention span to keep up with all the threads and diaries -- so I think my addiction got a bit less severe when the new site came online and the conversation wasn't all in one place anymore.

I might as well join in.

I found this site in the summer of '06.  I started a new job and I had absolutely nothing to do so I concentrated my efforts on learing as much about Michigan Football as possible.  I actually had no idea what a blog was until MGO.  I had heard of them, but they scared me.  MGO changed that.  From then until the site change I only read Brian's posts, I sometimes joined in on the haloscan (as Chris) but it was just such a mess.  Since the format change I try to read EVERYTHING.  Which at times is a practice in insanity.  Wait, no, if you say something is insane then it truly isn't.  Good.

No question, Jim.

I was introduced to the site by an employee of mine about 3 years ago.  I checked the site on and off until the summer of '07, and was checking it daily leading up to the Appalacian State game.

It was in the aftermath of the App. St. game that I became hooked.  After that calamnity, the angst, combined with abundant humor, is what really hooked me on Brian's work and his readership.  I sill think his "surrender" post is his funniest (and is also insightful) ever.
