So, over/under on number of new topics started when UM is selected?
Here goes nothing...
I'll take over.
I'll take way over.
one billion dollars on the over.
I'm thinking at least four people will start a topic about it. At least four.
Apparently geography isn't a big requirement for the committee... a #8 seed who will have home court over a #1 seed if they play in the second rd (columbus is 1 hr away from Dayton), and ND St possibly being a home team in their 1st rd game in Minneapolis... sheesh.
Zona didn't do much to get in. Wonder who bubble was busted for them to have made it?
and after seeing zona and Maryland in and seeded... anyone else getting a tinge of worry??
those 2 teams knocked out creighton and st. mary's. hopefully.
yea im pretty much freaking out and im serious hah
although ishoudlnt be. but ahh.
1) Teams that have no business being in are in (Arizona)
2)Max. 7 Big 10 teams
According to Hubert Davis, sucking at the end of the season in a bad conference apparently should not keep a team out.
Pissed at seeing Maryland in there, although if they're a 10 seed they probably didn't take our spot.
I'm just bummed that UVA beating them in the last game of the regular season didn't burst their bubble. Woulda made a bad season a little bit more fun. Damn ACC tournament.
Even the play in game has two teams relatively close by. Louisville, Ohio St, Pitt, Tennessee. 3 out of 4 schools within 3 hr drive.
Uhhh worry.... Wiscy as a 12?????
Crap now I'm nervous. Wisconsin 12?
that seed scared me
how is Minnesota a higher seed than Wisconsin??
Minny beat Louisville, and that probably helped.
Wisconsin a 12 and Minnesota a 10.
Not good. No idea what the committee looked at.
One region to go...yikes I'm nervous here.
it looks like its gonna come down to michigan or psu.....
if i see penn state im gonna crap myself.
then Michigan is out.
Michigan St, Purdue, Ohio St (8), Wiscy (12), Minnesota (10).
Illinois is a lock.... us or Penn St???? or St Marys
were out... I see no way with cuse and others still not in
I think 'Cuse is looking at a top-5 seed. They are not in UM's way for a seed.
Come on, one more bracket. I'm getting scared if Minny is a 10 seed and Wiscy is a 12.
I'm blaming the poster for saying here goes nothing. Not really
how could they take minny and not michigan???
It official. I'm concerned.
Is someone somewhere liveblogging this? If so kill them.
I was hoping for 8/9 um v lsu
I think the CBS guys have predicted every game to be an upset so far.
Book my tix for NC!!!!
KC, book your tickets for KC.
Let the topics begin
Need to change my shorts.
fuckin A right doggy!!!
Hooray that we're in, but damn that's a tough draw. Clemson and then Blake Griffin
Can we please switch seeds with Temple? I like that matchup better.
ha ha ha
lol....never been to Miami and TBH I have really no desire at all to go. Based on locations I'd rather swap with Minny on the very slim chance that we make the Sweet 16 and I can go to Boston, only an hour up the road.
Steel cage match. to the death.
as a second round matchup is ugly.
Whew! Thank god.... I still don't agree w/ Maryland getting in, though.
I'd rather not get Oklahoma as a reward for winning, but Clemson is in the middle of their usual late season pants-shitting. That's not so bad.
where the juice is at. Michigan can take Clem.
The south region looks tough - UNC at the top, LSU(!) a number a 8 and Butler(!!) a number 9. Gonzaga could have been a #2 seed, and ASU a 6 will be a bear. Clemson is going to be tough because of their athleticism, but they are also making the usual dive at the end of the season, so who knows.
Sparty got a favorable seeding by the committee. They're placed nearby in Minnesota and the 3 seed in their region is Kansas, a team they already beat. Also USC and BC were seeded too high in my opinion. MSU should get to the Elite 8 pretty easily.
The same team that SHOULD have won the Big X tourney? I'm not impress with Izz anymore,it seem toruney time his teams falter. Clearly they could go on a run....I'm just not buyin it.
Stae always does well in the tournament.
