I don't normally do an out loud "oooooohhhhhh" during these recruiting videos.

However, that was not the case with that hit around the one minute mark. Awesome de-cleat.

There were about two people who even tried to block him in this whole video. Let's see what happens when somebody puts a hat on him.

Also, this kid was about eight years old when "Crawling in the Dark" came out. I guess "My Way or the Highway" by Limp Bizkit is too cutting-edge for him.

Tip when googlestalking Jake Ryan: search for "Jake Ryan Football" instead of just "Jake Ryan," or else you'll get "See results for: cody linley" and "Also see hannah montana michael schoeffling"

Wow, do I like this kid's tenacity.

I didn't know who to look for at the start of the clip but was thankful it wasn't the OLB on the first play that got rocked by the FB. haha.

Welcome aboard, Jake. Go blue, big stick.

Instincts, athleticism, and a good tackler. Yes please.

Didn't see any ball carriers going forward after contact, signs of a good fundamental tackler. Glad to have ya aboard Mr. Ryan.

I think what I like best about him is after making a big play, he doesn't have to act like a moron. He acts like he's done it before. Make a tackle and get back and do it again. I love it.

Not the highest rated recruit, but seems to have a lot of potential, especially at a position of need.

At the very least, RR sure is getting his foot in the door at the top programs in OH. Next stop...Glenville?

his instincts for blitzing and timing the snap count. This kid will not be beaten out by a walk on. If he's already 225, he will be a monster when Barwis gets a hold of 'em... Great find, Go Blue!
