Rivals and Scout are reporting that OH CB Greg Brown has committed to the Michigan Wolverines. Brown is the first commitment in the class of 2011.

I visited scoutingohio.com and couldnt find any film on him, and they always have film on elite level prospects..I doubt he'll be a Rivals100 guy when the 2011 rankings are released..Probably ranking just outside the top100..None the less, a great pick up to line up with Justin Turner, BoBo Cissoko, Courtney Avery, and Cullen Christian..

Much hand-wringing has been going on about how this will affect recruiting, so you have to love Brown for stepping up and making his declaration in the midst of this mess.

Michigan Football is life...the rest is just details.

The timing is insane on his part. I guess this would seem like about as decided as somebody can get. There is no way this kid flakes out and changes his mind if he decided to commit at this time.

I can only continue to reference the fact that I live in an onion factory.

Is that he'll be a high 3* or low 4*.

He looked like a sure-fire 5* prospect a few years ago but disappointed at M's Summer camp. I don't think he has top notch speed.

I read the same thing. Before his soph. year he was very impressive in camps. Cannot remember where I read this but I did read this somewhere.
