I don't know what Stribling's final senior season stats were, but he was pretty darn good as a junior. He didn't exactly come out of nowhere. It's just that he had some really good senior players on the team when he was a junior, so he was overshadowed. His junior stats included 37 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and 6 interceptions. He also had 37 catches for 636 yards and 8 touchdowns.

This isn't conclusive by any means, but from the newspaper articles I found throughout the season, Stribling had 6 receiving touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and a couple return touchdowns as a senior. Overall, he probably had a better statistical season as a senior, but he wasn't too shabby before that, either.

Don't get me wrong i like what I've read about Freddy Canteen, seems like the kid is polished enough where he can come right in and contribute. However, losing an elite playmaker like Scott hurts. I really thought he would fit in perfect in the slot with our other size at WR. I'm happy he's not going to Ohio or any rival school but he's a tough loss, I'd like to know how it seemed like we had him, then Clemson comes out of nowhere and steals him within 2 weeks.
