harbaugh[1]

It has happened. Jim Harbaugh will be Michigan's head coach starting Tuesday. The race to tell you water is wet is on in earnest, but with even ESPN grudgingly admitting it, it's 100%. These four gentlemen were the first:

John Clayton is saying it's "100%" with Harbaugh pinging NFL assistants about their desire to come with him; there is an army of comically out of touch NFL people saying the Raiders aren't dead yet without even considering what the 49ers would prefer—not the Raiders.

It's done.

I'll be a son of a bitch. I didn't think it would happen. I thought he was an NFL lifer. Glad I was wrong.

I found out former players will be allowed into the pressconference. Guess where I'll be Tuesday?

I wonder how the fans in Florida and Nebraska will react to this?  I'm guessing they'll be a tad chagrined.

And to those who were mocking Michigan for "dragging its feet" during this search?  This goes here:

Not that we ever want to be Alabama, but did anyone read the SBNation article on UM's parallels with Alabama at the time they got Saban? Obviously, Harbaugh isn't simply a mercenary like Saban is, but it is interesting. The road to redemption starts here!

After Hoke was fired, I truly thought we had a slim chance at JH. I am so happy that the Team will begin trending up sooner rather than later. I don't think my heart or mind could have taken another 5 - 10 years of subpar football. Now, for the Lions win in Green Bay!

What an awesome feeling it must be for all right now to be able to say, "It's Happening!"

I woke up this morning and had to find my best Michigan apparel...also encouraged the MGoWife to do the same and rock her letterman jacket, as we head to Big Bear with the kids today for a fun Cali snow day.

It needs to be official he needs to sign the contract. I have trust issues and won't allow myself to accept it until he says it and the contract is signed.

I had to work over the holidays. Me and my family celebrated Christmas yesterday and last night. I can honestly say this has been the best Christmas ever! I think a Sunday Fun Day is in order!

This is the best Christmas present for the Wolverines.  I am really happy for the players and the recruits.  Especially the recruits that hung in their not knowing who was going to coach them but wanted to be Michigan!

Lots of effort went into securing Harbaugh to Michigan. Hats off to Jim Hackett  and all those who contributed. Well done.

I feel like the "heart" of Michigan football, will beat louder and stronger now.  There will be an outpouring of love in Ann Arbor on Tues., and from anywhere and everywhere that Michigan fans and alumni reside.

Do you think they may someday rename Ann Arbor, Ann Arbaugh???
