Hail To The Victors 2009: Open Call

httv2008 Hail to the Victors 2009 is on, and it will be like 2007 and 2008 except with more DEATH. This year I thought I'd do something novel: ask the world if they'd like to contribute. A lot of it is written by myself and a number of contributors are returning, so there aren't a whole lot of spots open, but there are a few.

If you're interested in contributing email me the following:

  1. An article proposal: basically an idea, some explanation, and a suggested length from 2200 to 4400 words.
  2. A writing sample or, better, a blog URL.

The writing sample doesn't have to be relevant; I just want to know you can write. If you can snag an interview with a current or former player or coach that would be a major selling point.

I'm also looking for someone who's good with Illustrator to help out with a few diagrams.

This year's

Last year's HTTV discussed most of, if not all of, the freshmen (McGuffie, Shaw, Odoms, et. al.), so I'm sure this year will deal with Tate, Big Will, etc.

It really is worth buying.

It really is worth buying. There is a lot in there that is discussed on this board, but also more in-depth analysis. Plus some other high quality contributors other than Brian. Most bookstores carry it. You buy now.

Dude, that was close, but no cigar:

Check the box: Check my spelling as I type

When a word is underlined in red dots, place the cursor on the word and right click to see possible correction.

BTW, some bloggers apparently like being perceived as grammatically/spelling challenged.

It's also a really good idea to hit the PREVIEW button and actually read what you've written before you hit the SAVE button.

Yeah, that is my license plate.
