but still can't help but feel crappy for Brady. I know some don't sympathize since he's rich n all, but the guy probably would've coached Michigan for vastly less than he did. He loved the school and loved his players. Sucks that it didn't work out

Agreed.  It would have been great if he was successful.  Good guy, cares a ton for the program and did things the right way mostly.  I am relieved that Michigan will be getting a new coach but a bit sad for him that it didn't work.

Thing is, he was paid handsomely before he had any real success. Sure, he's a nice guy and all but you don't get one of the top salaries in college football to be nice. Whether he coaches for a dollar or 5 million dollars to me is irrelevant, results are what matters and unfortunately he didn't get it done.

Depresser not cool. I hope the replacement is accepted by most and the others give him a genuine chance to right the ship.

Hmmm, let's see:

(1) Announcing groundbreaking ceremony for new $20 million underwater basketweaving facility?

(2) New yellow "band" to be placed around outside of stadium?  (Don't worry, it's NOT A HALO!)

(3) 2019 neutral-site season opener against Appy State, so we can settle this once and for all?

(4) John Beilein announcing his retirement? (OK, shouldn't even kid about that)

Uh, OK, I give up -- can I get a hint, please?
