This is Michigan Sports Center regarding Big Will:
William Campbell said something very interesting at the Detroit Free Press all-state football banquet earlier this week when he was asked about the departure of Scott Shafer.
"It really doesn't affect me because my defensive line coach is still there," Campbell said, speaking of U-M assistant Bruce Tall, who also attended the banquet. "It also doesn't affect me at all because I don't know where I'm going. Even if I was still committed there, it probably wouldn't make a difference because my coach is still there."
To me it sounds like a slip up when he said "my defensive line coach is still there," especially since he went on to point out that he isn't really committed. I get that Campbell wants to head to Miami for one last visit and wants his announcement to be somewhat suspenseful, but it really seems like he is secretly committed to Michigan right now.
