Frank Clark Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge Comment Count

Brian

No details yet as this apparently just happened but the Erie County jail's website has a log of all arrests and Frank Clark is on there:

If you are for some reason dubious that this guy who looks just like Frank Clark is Frank Clark, his DOB matches that on Frank Clark's MGoBlue bio.

I'm definitely NOT defending the coaching staff.  But if you're asserting that the players would get WORSE with 15 practices, I think you've lost a bit of rationality.  Even if they only get better a tiny bit, having those 15 practices is worth it.  Working out 15 times - in a slow academic time period - is always worth it.  How anyone can assert otherwise is beyond me.

As a HS coach, I would die for an extra 15 practices, even at the end of the year.  I'm a basketball guy, but I'm sure there's football parallels: Regardless of who's coaching, if a player spends another 30 hours shooting, passing, dribbling, etc, then they're going to be better than if they didn't spend that time practicing.

At this point, I don't care. I'd rather them fire the staff than practice and watch them lose again on national TV. We practice better than anyone else. It definitely shows on the field. Just look what that bowl practice from last year did. We had positive yards rushing against MSU and scored an actual touchdown!

You're right,  we are all pissed off and sick with the losing. But it wasn't that long ago that you seemed to be one of the program's biggest cheerleaders. I'm just suggesting that situations aren't usually all black or all white, they are varying shades of gray. The football program and Michigan athletics is no different.

If thier are any lawyers on hear correct me if I'm wrong. But in Ohio don't they arrest all parties in a domestic dispute? I don't want to crucify a guy just yet before we know the story. Looking on that log I at least saw one female arrested today, so I'm just saying lets get the whole story before we make a judgement. There is a lady from Mentor Ohio that was also arrested today for misuse of 911, drunk and disorderly, criminal trespass and resisting arrest. By the way Mentor is right next to Glenville.

pretty confident in saying you can't arrest someone without 'PC', meaning probable cause.  if any agency had a policy of arresting victims along with suspects, the justifiable outcry would be deafening.   what goes unreported or underreported is that women are frequently, perhaps even the majority of times, the perpetrator of DV.  however, for many reasons most men would never report it.

I was recently involved in a fight at a kids flag football game, police were called and no one got arrested. I was sucker punched and it lead to a larger fight. I know no one should fight at a kids sporting event. The other guy that started this fight took off as fast as he could after people broke us up. Now I didn't press charges cause the guy punched like a girl and things just got out of control, there is no reason to mess a guys life up after a tussle. But I could have pressed charges on that guy and he would have been arrested lots of people knew his name. That's pretty much all the probable cause you need to get arrested. And whatever you want to accuse someone of the police will mark that down on the police report. So there was a lady arrested that same night as Clark, from the same town as him so I'm going to assume both of them being a car ride away from thier home towns they know each other. If she got arrested during an incident all she has to do is claim something happened and they would arrest the other guy too. That's why we have courts so cops don't have to be judge and jury's. They just arrest people.

Dude I know trust me. I don't like it at all. It's really embarrassing. I've lived my whole life in sylvania and everybody knows about it. My wife has had to answer questions about this at her work from random people that also live in the area. + 1 to you cause that comment made me laugh.
