And then one day I stopped, or more accurately should have stopped, and realized that across most of my life, I had watched this person do work, act without a finished script, and live the real, uncertain life of a human being. I can say that of few people: family members, a few friends, and people like Junior Seau. "

Fitzgerald Toussaint

Has anyone noticed the ridiculous numbers that Fitzgerald Toussaint is putting up so far this year? To quote Rivals word for word "After four games, Toussaint has 851 yards and 13
touchdowns on 63 carries (13.5 yards per carry) and also has a 48-yard
receiving touchdown". 13.5 YPC?!?!? having him, jeremy gallon and a healthy terence robinson next year in addition to mcguffie, shaw, stonum, and mcneal is just ridiculous. that alone should make every michigan fan feel okay knowing that we might have the most absurdly talented offense in the country for a while.

that is all. GO BLUE.

i only respect other superfans

I expect the 2010 class to be fairly lineman heavy.  Our 2008 class was, and that may have scared away some of the elite lineman, esp since we have no seniors right now.  With both ND and OSU having very strong OL classes lately, UM will be more desirable, relatively, based on the depth chart.  Even more so if a couple of the current freshman get their redshirts peeled off at some point (which I hope doesn't happen).

I personally am not overly worried about our offensive line over the next few years. O'Neil, Khoury, Barnum, Mealer (hopefully he will be feeling healthy and ready to go) and even Omameh (i think it is very encouraging that RichRod referenced him today as someone who may not redshirt) should be developed both from a physical standpoint and a mental standpoint by the begginning of next year. On top of that, we will have a lot of guys returning from our current offesive line this year, including our best offensive lineman-- Steve Schilling. With that said, over the next few years our offensive line should be a strength of our team and not a weakness. This is extremely encouraging since our skill players are so young and talented; the future is very bright from an offensive standpoint.

The oline class of last year has garnered alot of early praise from insiders.  The guy that people think has the most upside is Omameh who has already added alot of weight and the terms "freakish athleticism" is what I had read.  They really like Barnum as well.

So far the biggest disappointment I guess is Oneill has a ways to go, given his hype thought he would have played.  The staff really likes this Oline class, and I like Frey who was dealt probably the worst hand of all the coaches.
