Well, how about that? Bernie Mac is back, and given all the crazy stuff on the bubble of late you have to think Michigan is in no matter what now. In. In.

And you can't have one without the other…

I'm ssssinging in the rain Just ssiiiinging in the rain What a glooorrrious feeeling Looking like an idiot spinning in circles singing The Victors on State Street in the pouring rain, while freshman orientation groups walk by and stare. To ye who saw the freak singing alone outside Ashley's this afternoon while Misopogal tried to stem the tide of embarrassment, this is what happens if you give a man Brian Ellerbe and Tommy Amaker for his college career. Special apologies to whomever is getting married at the League today. May your lives together be a constant road win.

must have gone to bermuda for a few weeks. This week has been surreal. Everything that had to go our way did this last week and here we are on the verge of the NCAA tourney at least a year or two ahead of any realistic expectations. I just hope we don't drop that first game if we play Iowa or Indiana. If we do, all this may be for naught. Either way, it's good to be a Wolverine.

Two bullets from last year's debacle against Minnesota (which was at home, but whatever) # Even the two four-star guys on the roster are kinda crappy: Sims is a horrendous defender and rebounder and Harris is a turnover machine. Ten Minnesota points were a direct result of Harris getting the ball slapped out of his hands. # They're going to be bad again next year. Lucas-Perry won't be eligible until midseason and the current recruits, while undoubtedly better than Jerrett Smith at all things, are not exactly instant impact types. Two impact freshmen in the starting lineup, some maturation by the aforementioned four-star guys, and a year of learning a complex system and a 10-22 team quickly turns into a potential 20-win, NCAA tournament team.

Great pre-game speech by Merritt tonight, I never get sick of those. Allowing the tv networks to film those...yet another reason why Beilein is awesome.

Why are we hopscotching back and forth from out of the tournament to the 11 or 12 seed? Does one or two games really push us that far up and over the other 12-16 teams at the end of the list?

To quote the wolf, "let's not start suckin' each other's d**ks quite yet." A win vs Iowa = 20 wins and in. Not sure what happens if we lay another turd against them Thursday.
