Does Petey Smith committing to Alabama make Tana Patrick reconsider Michigan?

Petey Smith (#32 ILB) said he is going to commit to Alabama per ESPN. Alabama already has a pledge from from Nico Johnson (#2 OLB), another highly rated LB so my question is with two blue chips like that would Tana Patrick possibly reconsider Michigan even though he is a MLB? I guess I'm just hoping we could land another LB on signing day and it sounds like Mingo is an LSU lock from what everyone says.

But at most, it bumps UM from "off the list" to 5th choice, or from 5th choice to 4th...

Alabama will take Patrick over Smith, for sure. If they have room for both, they'll take both. If they have room for just one, they'll take Patrick.

Remember, Bama runs a 3-4. They'll stockpile linebackers like we're stockpiling receivers.
