I know it seems pretty weak that everyone is suddenly dropping praise on Shoelace because he just committed, but I hadn't really checked out his film until now. It is linked below in case you haven't seen it. Of note - check out the first full play after the 2:30 mark. He rolls out and throws across his body ~50 yards downfield to hit a receiver in stride. In fact, most of his completions on the film are downfield passes, 20-30 yards...something we sorely missed last season.
Yes, I am highly aware of the fact that this is high school tape and just showing the highlights. No need to point this out. But if he gets his mechanics in check, Tate better watch his back. DRob may have huge upside and looks to be one of the fastest people on the entire team now, if the numbers are to be believed.

Side Question - does anyone know the quality of competition he faced in FL? I know that overall quality in FL is elevated above the rest of the country (TX/CA excluded), but was he playing the best of the best? He seems to be smoking everyone on the field regardless.
Robinson played at Deerfield Beach HS, which is a 6A school - Florida's highest classification. They advanced to the state quarterfinals this season and the semifinals last season. This season they lost in the quarters to Miramar HS (Eugene Smith, QB, WVU) and last year they lost to eventual "national champion" Miami Northwestern (see all of UMiami's [yes, that Miami] roster). It should also be noted that Deerfield played this year's "national champion" and 6A champion St Thomas Aquinas (Duron Carter, WR, OSU) - they got stomped pretty good, though.
So to answer your question - yeah, they play football good.
