Honestly, how bad is David Cone? With the poor quarterback play throughout the year, he still never got a shot. Anybody have a reasonable explanation why?

It's not like the coaches weren't looking for someone to step up. If this guy was slingin' the rock all over the defense playing scout team QB that's one thing, but when he throws half his practice passes to our defense...ummm not going to get a look with a W on the line.

Bass' knee was obliterated by a freak accident during a training session, I believe. He either landed funny or cut and his knee exploded. A damned shame, too, he had the tools and the desire to be a very solid player.
I expect to see a lot more of Feagin this week, especially with Sheridan as the starter.
