Well, that sucked, all of it. My favorite part was the foul on a box out. My second favorite part was the color guy saying Griffin had a "quiet" 32 and 15 or whatever when the announcing team couldn't go 15 seconds without suggesting Griffin be elected president of Awesomeonia. My third favorite part was death in the CCHA tournament.

But at least the other results in college hockey tonight fell in such a way that the most likely bracket facing Michigan tomorrow is:

1. Michigan
4. Air Force

2. Yale
3. Vermont

So there's that.

The Selection show is on at 11:30 am on ESPN2 I also want to say Shaq Gibson is awesome. He's become a legit backup center, and improved drastically since he got to Michigan. Hard work and good coaching FTW.

I couldn't watch the game because I had a "Daddy-Daughter" Dance to attend. My only connection to the game was the occasional text from my wife, ESPN "highlights", and the box score. The one thing that immediately jumped out at me was that 3 of our starting 5 DIDN'T SCORE! Yikes! NOTE: I got the box score off my PDA so perhaps the info wasn't totally accurate regarding our starting 5. Someone, I'm sure, will correct me if I'm wrong. That said.....Tremendous season for Michigan. Absolutely overachieved. They played with passion and they sent notice to everyone else that they will be a factor in conference and tournament play next season and beyond. Go Blue!

If Tebow and Griffin are ever in the same room, I think Brent Musberger's head would explode. Not that you'd ever be able to tell; the camera would only be showing his ugly mom.

As a Texas Fan, all I can say is welcome to the OU Sucks Fan Club. Activities include: * Laughing hysterically every time OU Football drops a BCS Game. * Crying hysterically every time OU backdoors their way into a BCS game. * Stabbing yourself in the eye with a fork while listening to the Giffin/Bradford/______ dick nom'ing from overzealous commentators.

by me, the game came down to the first five sequences in the second half: michigan converted on none of them, oklahoma converted on all of them. and even with that hiatus, michigan was in the game the whole way, played like men. honestly, given what he had to work with, beilein is a freakin' genius. i didn't like the doe-eyed adulation of griffin, either, and especially didn't like it when he gazed admiringly at his guns after muscling his way to the hole, but i'll say this: if michigan had a player like that, i would be wanting to have his baby.

David Stern and the NBA for elevating star players to the point where they freakin' walk on water with the refs, announcers, etc. Unfortunately this nonsense has flowed down into NCAA bball. OK, bitch session now over, Blake Griffin is a very good basketball player who garnered double and triple teams yet still managed to score almost at will. Yes, he was the reason we lost because we had no answer for him. It is painfully obvious that we need one or two talented beefy dudes down low. Until we have that missing piece, we will continue to be just a good team. Hats off to Beilein on his wizardry this season. Great job!

I don't think Brian or anyone else is saying that UM would have won the game if it was called down the middle, but it sure would have been nice to find out. Now, we'll never know.

Michigan I believe may have still lost this game but the officiating was inconsistent and at one point questionable. Michael Rosenburg normally writes articles without much research but this one is the exception: http://www.freep.com/article/20090321/COL22/90321049/?imw=Y For those who don't think the officiating wasn't a factor then I would love the hear the explanation between the blocking fouls called on Michigan against Blake Griffin and the numerous charges called against Michigan. Also, I would love for someone to explain the technical foul. The article does a good job of explaining why Beilein thought the foul was called but no one seems to care about little Griffen's tantrum. Michigan probably would have lost given that OU would have continuously fed Griffen down the stretch but we will NEVER know and the officials are totally to blame for that.

If you're being boxed out effectively, just jump dramatically in the air, falling down to the side - it'll earn you* a foul every time. *If you're a freak quasi-ginger manbeast.

Great bracket and an easier road than BU for sure. The number one overall seed really didn't end up benefiting us. We draw a pretty tough tUoOS team in the first round instead of Bemidji, who we deserved to face. Then either North Dakota or UNH in a home game in the second. Kinda disappointing. That said, we have a better team than any of those squads, and we should be going to DC. Tough draw or not, I'll be flat out pissed if we don't get through.

Totally agreed, Nick yuse guys got absolutely hosed....my jaw dropped when they first unveiled the bracket...and then came notre dame and I was yelling at the TV because they got a WAYYYYYYY easier bracket (in the closest region to them)..so I thought we were going to have to play Minn in Minny...and then was somewhat relieved to find out that was not the case...Hopefully we can take care of business though, there are certainly no easy games in the NCAAs
