Burlon Out Tonight
Guh:
Junior defenseman Brandon Burlon is listed as a healthy scratch on Michigan's line chart for tonight's Frozen Four semifinal against North Dakota (8:30 p.m., ESPN2).
I wonder how much run they'll give Clare; it'll probably depend on how effective North Dakota's forecheck is.
equipment manager: get Clare the foil. STAT
is a healthy scratch?
You can only dress 18 skaters, so a healthy scratch is someone who isn't hurt, but won't play....however the only reason burlon wouldn't play is because he is hurt; so this makes no sense to me
usually the healthy scratch is a bad player. i dont get the use of the term either.
It states:
"Head coach Red Berenson said earlier this week that while Burlon was healthy enough to play, his time off may keep him out of the lineup as U-M enters its most important game of the year and cannot risk playing a skater that is rusty."
Red is playing games with NoDak. Burlon will play, i hope...
Thank you for using the pug. If I had seen henri the otter of ennui i may have burst into tears after the last few years.
No wait, I was already terrified going into this game. Now I'll be in the fetal position under my coffee table, just in case anyone's looking for me.
