BlogPoll Week Eight
The turnovers finally killed it. There's nothing to bold this week:

Just a couple changes from the draft ballot, as I moved Auburn ahead and reordered a couple teams near the middle and end of the poll. I didn't find a viable enough candidate for the #25 slot, so USC gets to stay - although Michigan is about equally deserving.

We are getting closer. Fill the gaps on defense, some more maturity at QB and we are back where we belong.

Their defense isn't that great either. Arizona St. & Stanford scored 31 on them. Kansas state scored 24. We are just making a bunch of mental errors & bad turn overs. The offense has to be on for us to win, even with our bad defense.

to beat teams like Stanford. Stanford got all 31 points in the first half. Oregons defence shut them down in the second half. Oh and Oregon had 626 yards of total offence to Stanfords 518. Giving up 518 is bad but it happens when the defence has a bad half against a great qb. Arizona DESTROYED Oregon in total offence, 597 to 405. What Oregons defence did that got them the win is force 5 fumbles, got 3 of them, and had 4 ints. Oregon only had 1 fumble and 1 int. Oregon never played Kansas St. so I cant give you anything on that game, sorry. Their defence is good, the stats are scued because of how good the offence is. They score quickly and often, meaning their defence plays, a lot. When your defence is on the feild a lot, you give up yards.

lost and looked really average.
Somebody explain to me how it is that Wisconsin, having beaten a Number 1 team, and having lost just one game on the road to the Number 7 (with a bullet) team, is ranked below Alabama.
I suppose that virtually every week in college football polling includes one or more examples of laughably ridiculous ranking-inflation for SEC teams. This one is some vintage SEC bullcrap.

Am I the only person that gets irrationally annoyed by The Purple Wimple very week?
