I'm fine with Tex being over OU, but I think OU should be above them - even with the head-to-head loss.
Ask yourself- if OU had beaten TT by only 3, how would that change the dynamic? Tex beat OU in a close game (10 points, but the game was quite close), OU beat TT in a close game, TT beat Tex in a close game. It'd be "pick out of a hat" time (you could make the road loss/neutral field loss, argument, I guess). The only reason this isn't a 3 team debate is because OU obliterated TT. So because OU obliterated TT and took them out of the discussion, Texas essentially benefits. Put another way, if OU had barely beaten TT, Texas would have a tough case to be ahead of TT. But because OU stomped TT, prison riot style, Texas' loss to TT is essentially ignored. Dunno. Just seems perverse.
Then again, it seems equally perverse to put a 1 loss team ahead of another 1 loss team that beat them. Damn Big 12!

I get the feeling Texas Tech and USC would both destroy Penn Schtaaaaate. But that's just me.

who thinks USC could destroy any team in College Football on any given weekend? I suppose it's okay to punish them for not caring about certain opponents, but come on. If I were voting in any poll I'd have them #1 and Florida #2. The point of the poll is who is the best team RIGHT NOW, not who is the best undefeated team, then the best one-loss team, then two-loss etc. Plus, Florida and USC would be the matchup of the year if they played in a bowl game, but they won't. Damn you, BCS.

Any argument that claims that undefeated Alabama should not be in the top 2 spots is automatically insane.

at the end of the regular season, after they play Florida.

No. 1, Oklahoma no. 2. Those are the two teams I'd like to see play in the Nat. Champ game

Boston College wins at Wake and falls 7 spots?? Are the Eagles being dropped because of the injury to their qb?
