Okay, as a resident optimistic guy on this blog, I have come to a conclusion. I am sure many of you have been thinking it, but just won't say it. RR and the guys have been installing a new formation every week for THIS game and practicing it! He has talked with Carr and read Bo's Lasting Lessons and realizes what this game means. Do you really think he is obliviouos to all the hype? Do you really buy his lack of fire in the presser on Monday(not that he needed FIRE, but you know what I mean) I really think that the caoching staff has prepared for this game in one way or another all year.(justifying why we have lost 8 so far) This will be their vindication.
With that being said it still does not make a healthy and somewhat coherent/consistant offense show up. And I am not suggesting that the wishbone will be shown or the pro set, but we may see some things that we have not all year for the spread. Like num-chucks and throwing stars! Maybe I say this because all I see are about 6 plays every Sat....not bashing, just observing.(I know enough football to know that is not the case, but you get what I am saying)(I also know enough football to know that a coach would not sandbag a whole season just for one game...ahhhh forget it...that shoots this whole theory and now I just sound stupid.)
I JUST WANT TO BEAT OSU!!!
Maybe they do know a few things we don't...you think? See I cannot shake the optimism. (fwiw these have been my feelings before every game) Isn't that a defenition of insanity? Please help.
If the defense creats more than 2 turnovers, we have a chance. Someone please disable my ability to type.
