According to Rivals, Shavodrick Beaver has canceled his visit to the game today. If anyone has premium info, can you let us know what the reason for canceling was?

I'm hoping that's the reason, but, there were more rumors this past week about him possibly taking visits elsewhere. I wouldn't count him as "blue all the way" just yet if I were you.

The injury
The injury is the reason he's not coming, but I'm keeping a close eye on him with everything else. He seems to be back and forth sometimes. As of late he's been blue, but a couple weeks ago was kind of a shade of light blue. No reason to be concerned, but I'm going to keep an eye on him.

I don't see this report you're talking about on Rivals anywhere...
...but Beaver talked earlier in the week about potentially canceling the trip. He had surgery on his injured shoulder and he wasn't sure about traveling such a long distance. He said that he and his mom would have to decide whether it was a good idea or not, because apparently he was dealing with occasional dizziness after the surgery.

The person who said that Beaver wasn't going to be here today said that he heard it on Rivals Radio. Maybe he'll end up being here after all for the visit. There are a couple of people claiming that he was still planning on making it to the game. To be perfectly honest, it would probably make sense that he not come up here all the way from Texas considering he just had a pretty delicate surgical procedure done on his shoulder.

In the interview he gave in which he said that he may not come due to his shoulder, he was talking about aggressively calling prospective UM recruits to convince them to come, and that Michigan is the only visit he will schedule. I'm not sure why his name keeps popping up as "waivering".
