That was me who called in. I hate that guy, but his response to me made him look like an ass and I could tell it got to him because he kept it under control and sounded hurt like a neglected dog every time we scored.
I mean, I paid $7 to hear that. I didn't tell the guy (who answered my call) that he was being too biased, I told him it was bordering on mean. He took pride in that. The guy who answered was sympathetic though, and said he would get it settled.
edit: my favorite part was how we scored a flurry of goals immediately after. I hope the karma was partly from me, but probably just from that dick of a commentator.

was saying that the officiating is always biased towards Michigan and that (paraphrase) little schools like NMU always get shafted playing U-M. It's a tired bit, I hear it all the time-must have gotten their grapes from UNO fans, too. They are just bitter about U-M success. Keep in mind they are 0 for JLA against Michigan also. Hard to justify the officiating bias in this series... game one, NMU had more PP's- for a team with the most PIM's in the CCHA. Game two had two waived off goals on Michigan. Yep, bias.
The kicker was when NMU bush announcer guy started up on Scooter, making fun of his nickname. Then Scooter sent Rust in on his breakaway and scored. The timing was beautiful. The Michigan Daily writers were sitting next to these clowns in the press box and were commenting about it on their live blog.

It was a close first period where Michigan got out-physicaled by NMU and only a PP-goal towards the end of the period was the "negative" for NMU.
Obviously soon after Michigan blew the doors off but they were really pretty punky after they had a 3-goal lead.
Haglin played amazing per usual, and Hunwick played decent. NMU only had 2 shots in the 2nd period...that was when the wheels fell off.

Oh please give us OSU for the CCHA quarterfinals. Last year we put an end to Sparty's season. Would be sweet to do the same to the Buckeyes this season.
3 weeks ago I was nervous when Red jumbled up the lines after we got swept by Miami. It's the type of adjustment you just don't want to see in February, but it seems to have worked. Red is just incredible.

We could get BSGU, one of their 3 conference wins this season is against "The Northerns"
