Away uniform pants
Does anybody know if NCAA rules require away uniform pants to be a light color? I know the jerseys have to be white. I would love to see blue pants with the away jersey (never been a fan of the maize pants with the white jersey).

You can do whatever you
You can do whatever you please with the pants, I believe. But do you want to give people more of a reason to compare the new uni's to West Virginia? http://i.a.cnn.net/si/multimedia/photo_gallery/0608/gallery.cfb.bigeastp...

Granted, I've never been much
Granted, I've never been much for them either. That's probably why they keep retooling them, since nobody is really thrilled about what they end up like. I guess there is something to be said for trying something new on the pants rather than just the jerseys.

Keep the Maize pants
Blue pants is a mistake. We would look like inverse Nittany Lions. The reason the away unis change is that there isn't a historical look that must be maintained. Tweaking here and ther drives incremental jersey sales. the away unis just need to get rid of the piping and make a simple, clean uni that is the white equivalent of the classic home blue jersey.

Oh God, only a Miami guy
Oh God, only a Miami guy would bring up khacki "slacks". But it makes sense since our unofficial school colors were Khacki and plaid. Though I've never known anyone who's not a 60 year old woman to use the word "slacks". Do you also compliment people on their nice "pant", as in "That's a nice pant." If you ever said this to me I'd be sure to point out how well it goes with my pair of "shoe". Slacks? Really? ;)

Wool or Micro Fiber Khakis?
Wool khakis may be more durable, but the micro fiber may be better for the early season, temps above 80 games.

so you're saying...
plaid pants instead? I bet if you brought up the idea, Miami (FL) would do a popped collar and probation anklet uniforms.

Fuck me? Sir, please keep
Fuck me? Sir, please keep your sordid fantasies to yourself.
And for the record, as long as you insist on referring to them as "slacks" I'm going to picture you as Jaws's twin:
Yup. I'm a bastard.

No white pants
Just no white pants - I hate the white on white look.
