Austin White + Devin Gardner, Take 1

Putting my thoughts about them:

I do know Austin's two twin older brothers (2008 recruits) go to MSU. So maybe he will go there? Unless he happens to be a Michigan Fan.
He led Livonia Stevenson to the State championship as a Sophmore, led them to semi-finals as a JR.

I'm from Livonia area and all I hear about is the white brothers(Austin too) are a bunch of punks. Member the fight few months ago at MSU between football and hockey players?Austin's older brother was one of whom started it I believe, got beat up by a starting defensemen from hockey team. Austin recently got in a fight after school in the parking lot and got suspended, also recently got in a fight with his coach.

Last I heard because of that was he's transferring to Inkster. Which is where Devin Gardner plays. Two top 150 in nation on same team would be frightning. But about Devin Gardner, I hear hes a hugeeee OSU fan and will probably be attending OSU.

I've heard the same thing about the Whites, but mostly from here. I live right by Stevenson, but I never went to any of the games or anything.

I've heard he's kind of a headcase, and even though he's a Sparty lean, they've mutually cooled on each other.

I'd heard the Inkster transfer rumors as well, but I think they're just rumors at this point.

...and by that, I mean helter-skelter, willy-nilly and putt-putt!

I have some family that currently are in high school in the Livonia area and I don't hear many good things about this kid. I guess this news of transferring started when Austin didn't like what his coach was doing so he asked that the coach be fired/forced to resign. The kid thinks that he has so much pull that he threatened to transfer if the coach wasn't gone.

On the other hand he is a huge talent but I don't know if I would want to risk that for screwing up team chemistry. We all see what flashy/out-spoken players do to a team (i.e. Terrel Owens). I say if the kid can't make an attitude adjustment, send the locker room cancer to State.

Has the whole world gone CRAZY!?!

Ya, I dont know about the inkster rumors. But, obviously if he is at Inkster he should be there NOW. Because the one senester transfer unelgibility. Anyone know if he is at stevenson or inkster NOW?

According to Rivals, D. Gardner doesn't even have an offer from osu. I guess it could change though.

BTW, from what I understand, yeah, Gardner is likely an OSU lean because he was an OSU fan growing up, but even he just said, "Yeah, I just liked them because red was my favorite color, and they've been a winning team." Just sounds incidental to me.

Ya I understand. Everyone is diff, just picture you. What if your favorite color growing up was GREEN, and you always wore green. Pretty sure you'd go to the school who has green and if you didn't it would be awkward.

Some recruits choose schools for funny reasons.

Me for instance: My favorite color is Blue. So I wouldnl't be able to play for a Boston college, FSU, etc. Would be weird.

Anyone know where to find some film on this kid (besides the paysites)? All I can find is a sorta so-so TD run on YouTube.
