Do you mean Terrence Robinson? He was supposed to see plenty of PT, but, injured his knee before the Utah game and was redshirted. Rountree was a guaranteed redshirt and wasn't going to play at all last year. I don't think Roundtree was ever injured.
Any word on how Roundtree is doing this spring?
He had that sweet over-the-shoulder catch before an injury.
He got mono. No injury.
a shoulder injury and mono. The shoulder kept him out the first three games then mono took over for the rest.
OK, I do remember a shoulder thing, but he didn't miss the first three games, he had a touchdown against Utah.
when the shoulder injury happened. He then missed the next two games because of it. He wasn't back in there after that against Utah.
as the hockey team injury. and I blame the sorority houses.
Speaking of sororities, I've been in every sorority house on campus, and Kappa Kappa Gamma always had the hottest girls. Is that still true?
Magnus: I will not deny the hotness factor in Kappa Kappa Gamma, as I had "been" in that house quite a bit. However, Theta's and maybe Chi'O's were always a bit higher on the hotness scale when I was there. I'm an old fart now ("I'm a man. I'm Forty), so I am not sure now, since my wife frowns on my visiting sorority houses. I will ask her tonight if I can check into this for you.
I bet the Sun calls you "gramps."
right now tri delt has the hottest girls, hands down
Roundtree was at the most a buck 60 last year. that = redshirt.
or that = starting qb
if we mean TRob, Roundtree, Hemingway, or maybe Mike Cox? This thread would make more sense if it had a defined subject.
...but I'm dumber now that I've read this thread.
Did you guys hear that a gunshot wound kept Demens out last year and that Ricky Barnum didn't play because he was too busy filming an episode of "Law and Order: SVU"?
wears #7, and can be seen in a few spring practice clips. But those clips are so short, its hard to see what he has. Hence, we must all go to the spring game, and pray Michigan Hating Injury God mis-calendered the date.
I think you mean Terrence Robinson, but yes, he's looking pretty good from what I've seen.
could you possibly be able to say that he looks better? when have you even seen t-rob practice? not to mention odoms was ahead of t-rob before he got hurt.
please stop man.
Odoms has no agility? I must have missed that, you know, while I was yelling about how frickin sick he's gonna be in a year or two. Dude is sick. The fumbles sucked a lot, but damn man.
Just please admit to being a kid, and we will be nice. If not, you obviously are a fucking idiot and have not the slightest clue as to what you are talking about.
I think t-rob should be considered to be the starter over Odoms (not that he should for sure, but should get a solid chance) but your analysis of Odoms is blatantly false. The dude housed a punt. That doesn't happen all that often. You need both speed and agility to house a punt.
Odoms isn't as agile or fast as T-Rob but he isn't Odoms no ankles. I agree Odoms shouldn't start over T-Rob. Plus he fumbles way too much.
Man, you sure know a lot about football players who have never played a single down of college football.
Dude you act like "Big Ten Football" is special. Wow, he hasn't played a down of Big Ten football. Well he would of been the starter if he wouldn't of got hurt. So it is his job to lose. Big Ten football isn't shit right now.
Dude, why so angry? I don't think its necessary to attack posters and be so crude in your comments. Just state the facts and any relevant opinions and be done with it.
Would he of? Or the other of, of which you speak?
EDIT!: WTF? Why does this show my reply to West Tx? Again, directed to whatever his name is. McFarland
Dude, you act like the guy said "Big Ten football." Wow, he actually said "college football."
How old are you? Seriously, I would like to know.
Edit: weird, this was supposed to reply to dipstick, not West Texas Blue. Not sure what happened there.
"Odoms isn't as agile or fast as T-Rob but he isn't Odoms no ankles."
Jeremy Gallon is way better than both of those guys. He was an army all-american, which automatically makes him better then both Odoms and T-Rob.
....I guess I've missed the equation where:
Army All-American automatically means you're better than a non-Army All American. Unless you're willing to put the statistical analysis in to prove that the 50 kids who are AA are "automatically" better than the tens of thousands who are not, without evidence or statistics, that is a stupid red herring to fall for.
For example, what if Terrance Robinson was an Under Armour All American last year? Would Gallon still be "automatically" better than T-Rob?
And another point - don't you think that the 20 pounds of muscle that Odoms and T-Rob have from Barwis, as well as the speed training and one year's experience (for Odoms, where he broke the Michigan freshman receiving record), have something to do with who is "better" right now?
Honestly, you have no basis from which to conclude Gallon is better than Odoms and T-Rob. Gallon is still trying to qualify for college for goodness sake.
Being an Army All-American doesn't mean squat as far as "automatically" making you better than anyone else. There's a fair number of Army All-Americans who never accomplish much in college.
But you can't say he "has no basis from which to conclude that Gallon is better" because we have film to compare. Gallon is still trying to qualify for college, huh? Well, Terrence Robinson hasn't played a down of college football yet, either.
CoachBT thinks Rountree stock RISING.
But seriously, that's what it says over at GBMW.
Saw Roundtree yesterday with his hand wrapped up in ice bags. Didn't look too serious, but still.
That's just because Tate has such a cannon :)
you guys suck
Terrence Robinson got a banged up knee and was redshirted.
Junior Hemmingway got MONO!
Roundtree got redshirted and didnt get MONO or injured.
Do you work for Western Union?
Why do you say that? I research a lot of Michigan players.
1) CBs don't run the offense.
2) There are more than one CB spots on the field.
3) DW still had to compete in practice. How else would the coaches know he was ready?
Is anyone else's threading screwed up? Mine are all out of whack now.
You've probably been HaXx0r3D by McFarlin...
serves me right
I felt like Odoms would have been a good return man last year if it had not been for the fumbling. Unfortunately last year nobody could hold on to the ball. RR even tried putting Trent in there for one and even he fumbled. I really think that will be better. That being said I am anxious to see T Rob.
...is that I'm willing to bet most people are basing their opinions of Terrence Robinson solely on the "Dream Shake" video, which is exactly one play long.
Yep. He made one awesome move. He must be better than our leading receiver from last year who also returned a punt for a TD. I bet Robinson never fumbles, either.
If you watched home video of me, you would see a pretty sick video of me making a diving catch behind first base one time. Based on that, I'm motherfuckin' Don Mattingly.
Haven't read much about you lately? Coaching?
Regarding T-Rob, the one thing I remember from last August practices besides the Dream Shake video was that there seemed to be several players who made comments at the time along the lines of "T-Rob is sick." The "buzz" FWIW, seemed to have him above Odoms for a time before the injury.
That might be true, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's still above Odoms. Odoms actually has college experience now.
This isn't necessarily directed toward you, but being "sick" in practice doesn't necessarily mean you displace the starter. Steve Brown is a notoriously good practice player...and the coaches are doing everything they can to prevent him from being our last line of defense in actual games.
above Odoms, just that there seemed to be very promising comments from players themselves, not just us guys watching a video.
t-rob is a better athlete than odoms. odoms, however, is the better receiver. he runs better routes, blocks better, all that.
