I remember 15, the goatee was coming in in patches, just got my temporary permit, and I had an 11 pm curfew (of which I never obeyed which resulted in my driving privileges being taken away).

If there is news, SOMEONE WILL POST IT.

It's not like somebody is going to be like, "Oh, you want news? Well, Denard Robinson and Barkevious Mingo committed, and Sam Montgomery got hit by a Lincoln Navigator while crossing William St. going to Jimmy John's. I just didn't think it was important."

Asking for news is dumb. If you look through the message board posts and don't find it, that's because nobody knows anything yet.

Wow, I used to work at Rockefeller Center and would go over to that stand about once a week. Pretty good, but I still prefer the 'wichcraft chain.

You want for overrated? Shakeshack in Madison Sq. Park. Eh.

That place is ehh, what is worse is Carnegie Deli. 20 dollars for a freaking turkey sandwich that I can make at home!!! The atmosphere is not great either and the service sucks. I am sure though you and I can agree on Magnolia cupcakes.

Lived in NYC my whole life and still crave Jimmy Johns (and Potbelly's) I'll add Jersey Mike's too.

But if you want a good sandwich spot in nyc I'd recommend the getting a hero sandwich at the italian food center on grand and mulberry. If you like spicy flavors, ask for the fireman special! It's like 7 bucks and the sandwich is huge.

Little Italy reminds me more and more of Greektown in Detroit. One block of restaurants resisting the wave of expansion from Chinatown.

Same with Arthur Ave. in the Bronx, for that matter.

Yeah, very true. I've been to Greek town a couple of times and thought the same thing. Not sure what Greek town was like before 2006 (when I went) but it's amazing how small Little Italy has gotten.
