I hear a lot of people being upset that last shot didn't roll our way, but...free throws. Shouldn't have come to that.
I thought watching this would help with my "healing process", but it just made it worse. I still cannot believe that last sequence and especially that Morgan's put-back didn't go down. How can he sleep at night? I would replay that in my head every minute. I feel for him and the team...
At least we get a chance to play again Thursday and I hope they are fired up with an angry attitude.
I feel better now. It just wasn't in the cards yesterday.
What I like is that the BTT lines up perfectly for redemption:
1st round PSU
4th hopefully Bucky but MSU would be fine.
I think that we are going to win all four games and all is going to be forgiven. We are a good team that has learned sme terrible lessons this year but the ball will bounce our way next weekend.
count on it.
You sir, are an optimistic man. Of the first 3 teams they are 1-4 and Sparty and Ohio were beaten by a combine 2 points. If they can't improve on boxing out, rebounding, and defense this is going to be a short tournament.
We are a good team. And I think we will show that this weekend. I also think that the revenge factor in these games (especially the first two) bodes well for our coming to play.
Not all who wander are lost...
Did last year's B1G title mean nothing?
Regular season B1G champs is a culmination of a season's worth of effort. B1G tourney is one, hot weekend. It has some bearing on NCAA seeding and helps if you're a long-shot winner, but for higher eschelon teams the season resume is what the NCAA selection committee looks at.
Season champ than tournament. How does a 3-4 game winning streak outweigh the conference schedule??
People remember the season champion more than the tournament champion, partly because it is won over the course of a whole season, not ust 4 days. You only have to defeat 3 or 4 teams to win the tournament. It favors a team with depth and who gets hot at the right time.
Actually, everyone here is wrong. The answer is that when Michigan wins the regular season championship, then it's more important than the big ten tourney championship, and vice versa.
You have to be into some serious S&M if you're watching this one.
