What do you guys think about the minimum age limit of 21 to enter the NFL? It occurred to me while watching basketball tonight that without it, college football would be amazingly bland.
Tim Tebow won the Heisman Trophy in his sophomore year last year, and he probably would have gone first round, if he could have, along with Percy Harvin. Florida would not be in the championship game this year.
Sam Bradford is putting up amazing numbers this season and he could go first round, if they would let him.
Imagine no 5 star recruits because they immediately go into the draft. Even if a team did pull in a 5 star recruit, they may only keep him for a year or 2 before he actually goes to the draft.
On the other side of it, what if Lebron James had played in college? He could easily have been the most dominant player since Lou Alcindor was at UCLA.
So what do you guys think? Is it good, bad, or does it just depend on the sport?
