'09 LB's

Anybody know much on Willie Ferrell. Had close to 400 tackles last 2 years. Sounds like a player. Decent offer list. Anybody have much info on him?

I'm more....

I'm more interested in Dan Mason. I think he'll end up visiting, if we keep showin some love. Tana Patrick and Jelani Jenkins too, of course. I like Mason though.

I don't see any significant

I don't see any significant differences between Mason and Jordan Barnes.

there is video

out there of LB/RB one-on-ones from a summer camp, and Mason runs really well against some fast RBs.

One of Michigan's Rivals guys

One of Michigan's Rivals guys said he came away from that camp most impressed with Mason, and it was a camp that included Shayne Skov and Dorian Bell.

No difference between Barnes and Mason...that's a borderline irresponsible thing to say.

Yet, regardless of camp

Yet, regardless of camp performance, his film - when he's, you know, wearing pads - isn't that impressive.

There's a LB named Will

There's a LB named Will Ferrell? We need to get him.

That. Just. Happened.

Can we land at least one of the 3?

Between Tana Patrick, Jelani Jenkins, or Dan Mason. Obviously Jenkins being first choice but at this point no one has a clue of what he's going to do. Patrick seems like he stays south but then again the M coaching staff has been quiet which actually could be a good thing (not tipping their hand). Mason looks like a solid LB with good size and speed. In the end I hope we can reel at least one in.

Also

What about Larvez Mars? He is rated rather high and is an Apopka kid (same school as Gallon correct?). Do we not have any interest in him?

Looks like a pretty high

Looks like a pretty highly rated LB, but what's with the offer sheet for him? FIU, Kentucky, and Cinci? That's gotta throw up a red flag there. What's the story with this kid? Seems like UM would have an upperhand with him being an Apopka kid, and UM being the only big-time offer.

Found some more info:

Mars has the reputation of being one of the hardest hitting players in Florida.

But, Mars said he would like to stay close to home, and he may wait until signing day to make his decision.

Maybe he means "close to

Maybe he means "close to home" in a figurative sense, like he wants to be near people from home. Like Jeremy Gallon.

I'm sure that's what he means.

Will Ferrell...

Willie Ferrell you say? Most people just call him Will. I'm not sure he is that good at football, but he is a great comdedian. He plays in a lot of comedy movies. I don't think he'll committ to M.

;)
