Michigan volleyball (#15) taking on Penn State (#9) tonight at 7 at a sold out Cliff Keen. Michigan hasn't lost at home this year and is primed to take down the Nittany Lions.
If you don't have a ticket, listen live online. Tape delayed on ESPN2 Sunday afternoon.
Jeremy over at Maize and Blog posted this today:
WCBN Sports has been using YouCastr as its main audio server this year in order to give listeners an interactive, high-quality broadcasting experience. Unfortunately, YouCastr is changing its service in 2010 and eliminating its free-to-view audio broadcasts; needless to say, WCBN is unwilling to force its listeners to pay for Michigan sports audio.
So, today, we are asking for advice. Do you know of any online audio servers through which we can bring you Michigan sports without charging fees? Please let us know if you have any thoughts.
As always, WCBN will have the basketball game this afternoon for your listening pleasure. I'm pretty sure that BigTenNetwork.com thing is a pay-per-view deal, so grab your computer and listen for free online.
A bit of shameless self-promotion, but tomorrow at 3 PM the men and women of WCBN 88.3 FM Ann Arbor will be hosting the first live radio show of the new school year. For the uninitiated, WCBN is the student radio station on campus, and in addition to daily sports reports and expanded shows on Mondays and Fridays, we also broadcast football, basketball, hockey, softball, baseball, and volleyball games to Ann Arbor.
Tomorrow's show will run from 3 to 5:30 PM, and we'll have talk about Saturday's game, the upcoming matchup with the Domers, and more from around the sports world. As an added perk, our fearless leader Brian Cook of the site you're currently browsing will be joining us at 5 PM to share his pearls of wisdom.
For those in Ann Arbor and the immediate suburbs, WCBN can be located at 88.3 on your FM dial. You can also listen live online here: http://www.wcbn.org/listen.html
I suggest clicking the link and testing your system before giving listening a try tomorrow.
Hope to have some of you give a listen tomorrow!
