Mike Spath points out that doing an interview for the official site is a pretty good indicator he'll be back.
TomVH just tweeted that Virginia's leading receiver, TE Jake McGee, is transferring and will be immediately eligible. We need a TE, and he could be a fit for Michigan. I don't know how to embed but that's the jist of it. No insider info.
I would love to have him, is it too late to retroactively add him to 27 tickets?
Welcome to the team, Jake.
Scout free article. Really enjoyed his spring game visit and has recently said that UM coaches are recruiting him the hardest. Ole Miss, UF, and UT are the other three schools in his top group.
“I enjoyed the visit a lot, but I’m not exactly sure if an offer may come,” said Helm. “Coach Hinton said they would continue to evaluate me after their spring game and I would know more later on, but I’m just unclear on how to consider them moving forward. It was a cool to see another campus and to check them out, but even if they decide to offer, I don’t think they would join my top four schools.”
Brady wants McGary for TE.
This has to happen - start the petition drive.
Hoke wants McGary as a tight end and said he has jokingly talked to him about playing football.
"I'll take him in the red zone, just throw the ball up," Hoke said
Steve Lorenz @TremendousUMWelcome to Michigan Quinton!
Michigan has added a 2012 preferred walk-on in TE Quinton Mandle out of Fenton, MI. 6'5", 225 lbs. Highlight film:
According to Sam Grant's Scouting Ohio page, he added an offer from Oklahoma. Not sure if it affects him at all, but OU's had some solid tight ends of late.
Via Rivals, 4* TE Chris Barnett will be visiting the weekend of January 28. He's currently a commit to Arkansas, but has seemingly opened up his recruitment as he is visiting Michigan, as well as Miami this weekend. (Note to Al Golden: kindly FUAD.)
No word on our chances per se, but hey, if you can get 'em on campus anything's possible.
