I'VE HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH OF YOU SONNY
The season is only two months away! One of my big purchases for the upcoming season will be a new tailgating tent, and I plan on customizing the design through EZ-UP to make it unique. As EZ-Up does not have the appropriate licenses to print the Block M (they told me to request permission from the university, good luck to me for that), I'm trying to come up with good single-color images to use, or general ideas really. Concepts I have so far are family names/years of graduation around the valance, single-color images of Yost, Bo, Hoke, etc, the banner, the winged helmet, etc.
For those talented individuals who do make the single color images that are used on the MGoBlog Tshirts, etc. - what software do you use? Is it hard to become minimally proficient at it?
Also - what tailgating purchases is everybody making at this time of year to get ready for the fall?
I know it's a little early to start talking about this, but as newer season ticket holders, my best buddy and I are pretty much addicted to tailgaiting on the golf course. After 2 years, we are still perfecting our tailgate. He recently got one of those folding Coleman grills, I made some custom painted M cornhole boards, and I'm getting a Michigan beer pong table for my birthday.
So, I'd like to hear about/see the board's best tailgating gear. Links or pictures would be much appreciated.
My friend was on Pokerstars earlier this week & was chatting with Cada & he said he would be at the game this weekend tailgating. Does anyone know where that will be? I would like to take myself & 2 of my friends over to meet him possibly. One of my friends wants to get a photo with Cada really bad and if we can find him and he isn't getting too mobbed I would like to make that happen.
The "All Tomorrow's Parties" feature on Dr. Saturday this week showcases Michigan.
Yes, it's quite sizable, and yes, it looks just as ominous from the inside. There are ostensibly aisles you can walk through, but according to many Wolverine partisans, good luck getting anywhere after kickoff. Or just after the game. Or prior to the game.
It features places to eat around town, what to wear and what to drink ... not that any of those things are news to this community.
Check it out here.
I need some help. I have a friend who invited me to the game with a couple other guys and he's paying for my ticket! YAY! He said he will be picking me up in the morning and I didn't need to worry about anything. I am planning on bringing a cooler of beer, but what could I do tonight in prep for tomorrow with food? In the past we always made sandwiches(BORING), but I want to do something a little nicer for him and the crew since this is all on his dime. Any suggestions? Keep within small budget.
Thanks in advance for the input.
I hope this was diary worthy.
