"(I) think about 'The Lion King,' Simba gets hit over the head and (he's told) 'the past can hurt,' " Harbaugh said Monday afternoon. "'You can either run from it or embrace it and learn from it.'
So rivals Seattle and Portland played in some tournament.
Seattle had a dude dismissed with a second yellow. Then another guy was shown a straight red for an elbow.
This Dempsey did this (see embed below):
Seattle finished the game with 7 men (a couple injuries and all subs used).
"MLS is a joke" okay, got that out of way. We all realize the quality of play isn't as good as the big European leagues but if nothing else, the games can be very exciting. Some big names have arrived (Kaka, Villa, Gerrard, etc.) and some have left (Henry, Donovan). More could come, i.e. Drogba, Chicharito, Xavi, van der Vaart, Balotelli????
My team in the East is Toronto. I think Giovinco will be transformative for them and how they got him I have no idea. Linking with Bradley will be awesome to see and will revive Altidore's career. Obviously the Revs look good too as they have a solid team. On paper, both expansion teams look solid and were constructed really well. If NYCFC gels, they could win it, really, they have good players at almost every position. Columbus will be good. The East is far more interesting though the West has the two best teams.
In the West , Sounders or Galaxy?
I’m going to make this a monthly update, I think. Let me know what I missed, or if you have any more insight that I can add.

MLS Cup Final Tonight!
Who ya got? Is this is it for Becks/Juninho?
Personally if Davis doesn't play, I really can't see Galaxy losing; and to be honest I think it's great for MLS and US soccer to have a dominant, recognizable team. I really don't think Becks is coming back, but I'm hoping Keane can be all like "C'MON MAN!!!" and talk him into staying.
I know there's alot of soccer fans on this board but i don't know how many watch MLS. Anyways, cheers and enjoy the game!
Sporting Kansas City won the rights to UM standout Soony Saad today. As someone who works for Sporting, this is very exciting.
Gotta start saving up for my new jersey!
