Mount St. Mary's hired a private equity CEO to be their president. You'll never guess what happened next.

Something other than CC to help pass the morning.
A great honor for the most beautiful football stadium anywhere.
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Newly renovated Michigan Stadium was awarded with a Best of the Best Award by McGraw-Hill Construction, a national competition that recognizes design and construction excellence based on regional winners of the company's 10 regional publications. This is the third year McGraw-Hill Construction has presented the Best of the Best Awards.
There couldn't be any better place to watch the Maize and Blue play football.
Michigan Stadium was awarded as the top construction project in the sports/recreation category.
Be Pround of our University and all it has to offer.
While I was working at the Big House installing the elevators, I heard one of the engineers discussing the further expansion of the stadium. From what he said, there were talks of expanding the capacity another 5,000 seats in the very near future. It sounded like they wanted to add bleacher seating around the top of the north and south end zones, basically where the scoreboards are. I have no idea if there is any credibility to this engineer's info, so I was wondering if anyone can add anything to this. Has anyone heard any similar rumors? I know the footings are in place to seat 200,000 so I may not be completely dilusional.
I would love to see it happen, personally, and there is no way it is even close to the undertaking the suites were. I just wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone close to the University has heard similar plans. Thanks.

I am curious about the current status on the football stadium. Have they begun removing the old pressbox yet? Finished this work? What is happening inside the suites? Did this work continue all through the Fall during the season, or is it really just getting going now?
I know that the stadium will be complete before the next season, but will it pretty much be complete by the time of the Spring scrimmage, or not until sometime in the summer?
I realize I can link to the stadium cams, but they pretty much just show the exterior. From what I can tell, most of the exterior work is complete(except the pressbox removal.)
Edit: Just checked the webcams, and they have been disabled for the remainder of the project.
