that's unfortunate, but at least the interest is there on both sides
SI.com has learned that a British tabloid is set to run a story in which a U.K. woman says she is pregnant with Donovan's child...."I was informed of the possibility during the World Cup, and if I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support," Donovan told SI.com.
Doesn't sound like much of a denial. I usually don't pay attention to tabloid crap but I was just wondering if this would be enough to tarnish the golden boy so that the Galaxy could be persuaded to let him go back to England. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/soccer/world-cup-2010/06/26/donova...
Or those that want to see it again........
Yeah, I also linked the video in the "wooooo" thread, but it deserves it's own topic.
For my fellow USMNT fans: anyone with Fox Sports Soccer should be watching this Everton v Man City match. Donovan has been controlled and dangerous on the right side. He had a few effective crosses and one or two spot on corners. He also took a run with the ball to the center and unleashed a cracker that he never would have done in his previous stints overseas.
Finally, the Yank won a 60/40 ball and started a run that resulted in a penalty which gave Everton a 2-0 lead over top 4 hopeful Man City. It's been a joy to watch him play with class at this level, two matches in a row now. Second half will hopefully be more of the same.
