"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."
Don't know how this was missed! But on Saturday, Kovacs was moved from the practice squad to the 53-man roster for last Sunday's game.
He is only playing special teams at the moment, but I hope someday this season he can actually see time as a Safety.
According to Maize N Brew's Ex-Wolverines in the NFL, Kovacs recorded his first career NFL tackle on kickoff coverage.

[EDIT]: Guess it was mentioned on Sunday. Credit goes to MGoUser sas5128.:
Jordan just announced on his twitter that he has been signed to the Dolphins Practice Squad. As a Dolphin, fan I'm a little surprised, since it seemed like another safety may have been ahead of him, but I'm extremely happy for him. Here's hoping that he sticks and eventually gets called up!
Still a good chance he makes the practice squad.
Really cool article that features some of our opponents' anonymous responses to questions about Michigan's defense. They're very homogenous/consistent responses. An interesting read for those with Rivals subscriptions.
Now that Jordan Kovacs is headed down south to play for my beloved Dolphins, I was wondering if the individual players receive compensation or royalties for any of their pro jersey sales. If Mr. Kovacs makes the team, I intend to purchase an Kovacs Dolphins Jersey. I'd like think that he gets a small piece of that. Anybody know?

Either way, he's just asking for a chance.
"I’m hoping for the best, preparing for the worst," Kovacs said. "That’s always been my approach. If I get picked, that’ll be great. If not, I’ve beaten the odds before.
"It’ll be a challenge either way, whether I’m picked in the fifth round, or whether I’m undrafted. It’s going to be a dogfight just to make a roster. I’m looking forward to the challenge."
It must be JORDAN KOVACS DAY since it looks like Angelique wrote one over at the Detroit News.
I'm rooting for him to get drafted or sign-on as a post-draft FA.
