“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”
Just came across this website purportedly analyzing how your viewing dollars support the world of sports:
I don't know enough about the world of sports broadcasting to know whether their data and conclusions are valid, but I know there are some MGoBloggers who find the topic interesting.
Fox Sports Detroit has a viewer form on their website asking people what they would like to see in place of live Red Wings games if the lockout is real.
Select the bottom option "live college hockey games from our region"
Then in the box below tell them you want Michigan hockey.
I know they probably already plan to show a handful of Michigan games but the more Michigan hockey on TV, the better. Would be good for people who don't have CBS College Sports who can't see the 3-4 games on that network this year.
I was rummaging through the M-Den website today and came across this U-M Fox Sports robot action figure for sale. What connection does Michigan have that Fox Sports would be making items for us with their logo?
Just seemed weird to me.
