"What (Michigan coaches) told me is that they're focusing on point guards right now, but if anything opens up, they'll definitely come back on and recruit me as hard as they were," said Towns
I can't decide which 2013 recruit that I'm most looking forward to wearing the winged helmet, but S Dymonte Thomas is up there, and we haven't heard much about him recently. He's competing in a national 7v7 tournament in Indianapolis this weekend, and here's an article with some praise. Also includes a positive shout out to Khalid Hill. Link? Link.
Per Ace's twitter, quoting Dymonte's twitter. I won't post the tweet because the format always seems to get screwed up, but here's the quote and link:
"It's official if I score high enough on my ACT and I pass summer school for Spanish 2, I'm graduating early to go play football for Michigan."
"Bree Dunn just walked into my house with all of his OSU stuff on. He's about to get beat up."
This should assuage any fears for those people scared he'd flip to OSU. Then again, if you don't believe him yet, you probably won't until he signs.
I won't post a link, but I just talked with Dymonte Thomas about a week or so after Eleven Warriors posted a short interview with him in which the consensus seemed to be that Urb's golden touch will bring Dymonte home to the Buckeyes. In short, it's nothing to worry about. He said he'd visit Columbus only to see Brionte and his brother, who is also a student at Ohio. When I asked him about Meyer/Dunn and their potential influences, his message was simple: They have no impact on me
I only posted this just in case some people caught the 11w interview and were a little concerned.
Hey guys, I was able to talk to Dymonte Thomas a little bit ago. His message was simple: I'm going to Michigan. Just thought I'd pass that along. I also talked to Dorian O'Daniel among others today if you want to check it out: LINK
Hey guys, yesterday I was able to secure an interview with 2013 commit Dymonte Thomas. Great kid with a great attitude. If there's one thing I've learned in doing these interviews, it's that the coaching staff is bringing in high character kids who know what the rivalries mean. Hope you enjoy: Dymonte Thomas
To ease the pain of losing a recruit we never actually had, just know that his cousin, one of the best players in Ohio for 2013, is strong in his commitment to Michigan despite a recent OSU offer.
