Sunday Night Getting Hammered Thread
So with Michigan basketball choking away the B1G title, I can barely think I am so pissed off. I threw a freaking temper tantrum at the end of the game that included swearing and throwing a t shirt across my living room. Right now I want to just drinking my woes away. I working my way through a sixer of Guinness stout.

Hey guys....
I know it's a rough time but we seriously need to keep our heads in it. As much as we want to hate these are the days when true fans are born. It's seriously hard to turn on ABC at noon and not expect more than what we have but we HAVE to deal with it. It's what has been handed to us. Man up and continue the fight. That's all I really want as a fan. I want to know that fans still have our players' backs! If you aren't a fan of the coaching staff that's your business but remember the players who committed their futures to our program and to us their fans! Honestly, it's been rough but we need to man up and weather the storm. Go Blue!
OT: Drink of Choice
Well today was a stone cold bummer. We lost. So what do we do now? I am for one drinking and watching other teams hoping for Shadenfreude to entertain me and writing on MGoBoard. Instead of another post about hiring, firing, and suicide, I thought we could have a thread on what we will be drinking tonight. We may find we can agree on alcohol.
So what are you having? Pics are welcome, especially for the more obscure drinks.
I will be having the following:
and
Drink on, be merry, talk about football, and turn on the spell checker....NA is also welcome. So whaddya having?!
Which would you rather have - our 2010 Defense or our 2008 Offense?
Choose your poison - Which would you rather have - our 2010 Defense or our 2008 Offense?
The Threet/Sheridamnit led offense ranked 109th in the nation in total offense (290.75 ypg) and 99th in scoring offense at 20.25 points per game. This year's defense is ranked 112th in total defense giving up 445.18 ypg and 99th in scoring defense allowing 33.55 points per game. Ironically almost identical suckitude.
As painful as it is to watch, I would much rather have this years defense rather than the 2008 offense. With our offense we have a chance to win every game (and it's fun to watch). On the other hand it is generally true that you can't win if you can't score any points- witness the 2008 10-13 Toledo debacle.
