I think you will get your wish.
So, a couple years ago, monuMental made an entirely amazing wallpaper for the first UTL game. Being a large fan of monuMental's work and contribution to the blog, I modified his version for post-game purposes (the preview pics are gone but the Skydrive link should still work).
Please note: the above is only a preview version and you should download the widescreen version here. (Yes, I am lame and only did one version.)
Thanks again to monuMental and all credit really belongs to him for the original art and concept.
In the gym this morning I had the (dis)pleasure of listening to Lou Holtz, Mark May, and Rece Davis on "College Football Final." In case anyone is wondering, they would have been hard to avoid. Multiple TVs blaring, etc. (I'll admit to having at some least some interest in the program.)
They showed the Michigan highlights right after Notre Dame's and moved into a quick discussion of next week's game. It was noted that the next two games will be the last in the series for now. Holtz took the opportunity to say that Hoke's "chicken" remarks "could come back to haunt" Michigan. When asked by Davis whether he thought ND was afraid to keep playing Michigan, he said "Nooooooooooooo."
They're even the right color!
Interesting poll on AnnArbor.com today asking who should replace Notre Dame (those weasely fellows) in a long-term series. Will that ever happen? Who knows, but certainly would be interesting.
I'd vote LSU. What say you?
Gene Smith displays his backbone (or lack thereof) in comments regarding Ohio basketball scheduling Michigan in the non-conference, after missing the game @ Ann Arbor this coming season. While being obviously against the measure, he goes on to say "We're not chicken." Lots of chicken in the B1G news this week...
