So i figured I'd made a sheet of hockey chants and waste some of my CAEN printing making about 500 copies of these to pass around the student section tommorow.

I saw the Big Chill - Chants thread and saw that not all of the chants were posted or were posted across many comments and figured since I already had it typed up that I might as well post it here.

Feel free to print this out and bring to the game tommorow.  I know I didn't put all of the chants here but I filled up a page.

(When the refs step on the ice at the beginning of a period)

BOO!!!!! CHECK THE NET… CHECK THE NET (until he checks it).  GET INSIDE (until he gets inside the net).  CHECK IT AGAIN (after he leaves the net).

(When State gets a penalty, raise your hand and wave)

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH (until the player steps in the box).  SEE YA!  CHUMP, DICK, WUSS, DOUCHEBAG, ASSHOLE, PRICK, CHEATER, BITCH, WHORE, SLUT, COCKSUCKER

(When Michigan Scores, after the Victors, Hold up the number of goals on your hand until the announcer announces the goal).

Any time "Temptation" (the football you suck song) is played

During intermission, try to get the kids on the zamboni to do the following

Wave, Raise the roof, Flap arms like angel, make a butterfly using your hands, then try to get the kid to take off his/her shoe and throw it on the ice.

During the Blues Brothers Dance in the clapping, cycle through the following actions with the person next to you

Front/Back, Up/Down, Left/RIght

The latest installment of Brandon's Blog at posted at MGoBlue.com.  As ever, when Dave speaks, all the Michigan Faithful bend their ears and point their mice accordingly. 

Everyone is focused on making sure we have everything in place for Saturday. From the pregame activities with Lawrence Kasdan, the U-M grad who, along with Barbara Benedek, who wrote the movie "The Big Chill," to a flyover by the United States' Air Force stealth bomber, to the special videos, fireworks and the many other presentations, I sometimes have to remind myself that the focus of this event is the hockey game itself.

Coach Red Berenson and his Wolverines have played outside before, but this event is special to all of our student-athletes since it's their game in their (big) house.

Yet, this event means so much more to the entire community than just the game. Youth hockey, high school hockey, Division III college teams and the U-M men's and women's club teams have been able to play in the Big House.

And when Saturday comes, our business community will benefit too. Hotels will be filled, restaurants will have overflow crowds, and the economic impact will be equal to a football weekend.

Oh, he's good.  He's damn good.

Edit: Just looked at today's schedule... maybe this is the University of Michigan-Dearborn Club vs. Eastern Michigan Club game.  The website doesn't specify a time.

Just curious if anyone knows if the FanVisions will be active at the Big Chill.  I'm pretty sure that they are football only devices but thought I'd check to see if anyone has heard anything to the contrary.

By the way, for those of you wondering, the FanVision was awesome to use at the football games this year.  The ability to instantly watch a replay from any camera angle in the stadium was very impressive.
